The famous Britan's Got Talent duo Ashleigh & Pudsey sent me this lovely photo of the 2 of them holding their very own Cotswold Characters model! Very proud moment in deed! Ashleigh loved her model so much that she even Tweeted about this on Twitter to all her followers!
My Business Cotswold Characters has now been accepted and registered with the Professional Crafters Guild.
The Professional Crafters Guild was created in July 2011 to help working crafters show the world that they are 'serious' about their craft as a business and not a hobby! Nothing will rile a
working crafter more quickly than thinking that they are hobbiests rather than professionals.
The working crafter works excessively long hours and puts their body and soul into their work and deserve recognition for their efforts.
I have recently teamed up with the Cotswold Dogs & Cats Home to help them raise some much needed funds for their new re-homing centre in the Cotswolds.
They are an independent local charity and have been established for 75 years.
During this time they have helped to rescue thousands of animals in the South Cotswolds from abandonment, neglect and abuse.
They have also provided a place for people to turn to when they find they can no longer care for or afford to pay for medical treatment for their animals, perhaps due to ill-health or a change of economic circumstances.
They work in Stroud, Dursley, Wotton-under-Edge, Tetbury, Fairford, Cirencester, Berkeley and Nailsworth as well as the surrounding areas.
As a separately registered charity, they are affiliated with the RSPCA and their standards of welfare are of the highest level.
They receive no funding from the national RSPCA; their work is entirely financially supported by the local community.
If you are interested in helping me raise money for this worthy charity please quote CDCH when placing your order for a clay version of your pet.
